Recently I’ve been reflecting a lot on why I am a Personal Trainer. I am studying another Diploma for Women’s Strength Course. Whilst I have a diploma in Personal Training, and many years of studying the practise under my belt I thought it would be a great time (thanks Covid for giving me some time!) to refresh and ensure I keep up to date with the practises of Personal Training. For me the reasons haven’t changed in all of the years I’ve been training people. I’m just as passionate now (and thankfully a lot more educated)
I want to empower Women to become who they want to be:
Strength
Knowledge
Power
Weight Loss
Whatever their needs. Because yes we are all in the same ocean but we are not all in the same boat.
For some its support to get their bodies moving in some way, encouraging a range of exercise – be that movement, rep range or intensities. Encouraging them to include weight training and cardio. For others it enchancing their current regime, improving their technique, understanding what exercises will improve their life. For some its accountability and for everyone its a support buoy in this crazy hectic world we are living in, some support and understanding…. I’m a 45 year old Mum who has lived many lives and who has struggled with so many things over the years, and I do continue to, for some of my clients the fact that I can understand this is what has drawn them to me, I don’t judge simply support….. and I’m so pleased I’m just as passionate after all of these years!
